People across the country are being encouraged to visit sculpture in their localities today as part of International Sculpture Day.
The day is a worldwide event designed to help the understanding of sculpture and its contribution to society.
Now that people can travel around their county, there are a number of online resources available to help them appreciate the public art they see.
In the capital, Sculpture Dublin has designed a range of online talks and interviews as well as a ‘sculpture trail’ to help people in the city learn more about the art they pass every day.
