International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the power of women, and it’s a great time to reflect on all the things women have accomplished in recent years.
In fact, this year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “Choose to Challenge.” The idea is that we should challenge gender bias and inequality and celebrate women’s achievements. It’s a call to action to make a positive difference in the lives of women and girls around the world.
Women have made incredible strides in recent years–they’ve achieved many successes in fields such as business, science, technology, politics, sports, and the arts–but there’s still much progress to be made in terms of gender equality. Women face challenges such as unequal pay; limited access to education and healthcare; discrimination at work; and more. These issues have been exacerbated by COVID-19 pandemic which has had a greater impact on women than men (who were mostly unaffected by it). There are many ways people can show support for International Women’s Day including donating money or volunteering time at organizations that support women’s causes or attending events promoting gender equality
