The benefit of smart class will be available to the students only when the teachers are technically proficient. In smart class, knowledge of technology is necessary for conducting visual classes from interactive boards and projectors. For this, training is being organized by the Basic Education Department for the teachers of council schools with smart classes.
The four-day training begins on Monday, which will continue till February 24. The technical experts of the company setting up the smart class will explain to the teachers in detail about the technical aspects in the operation of the smart class. In the course of training, it is mandatory for each participant to give presentation of interactive board and visual class of minimum ten minutes. Apart from the headmaster of the concerned school, a teacher nominated by him will participate in this training. The headmaster will be the nodal for the entire training and will provide requisite support to other teachers of his school. Smart classes have been established in 65 council schools in the district. Apart from the headmaster and one teacher of these schools, the headmaster and teachers of those schools will participate in the training. Those who have received smart or interactive board from any organization or any other item. In this regard, District Basic Education Officer Rakesh Singh has directed all the Block Education Officers to conduct the training successfully and ensure the participation of all the teachers. So that children can get the benefit of this training.
